Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all phone interpreting services ordered through phoneinterpreting.ch from ABC Translation LLC, Rue de Morges 22, 1023 Crissier (UID CHE-284.072.845), operating under the brand ABC Office.

2. Order and payment

The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. Prices are fixed per package, in Swiss francs, as displayed at the time of the order. Payment is made in advance online via Stripe.

3. Performance

After payment, we contact an available interpreter, who calls the number given by the client. We aim to call back within 15 minutes during service hours, without guarantee. The client must be reachable at that number.

4. Duration

The session lasts at most the duration of the package purchased, starting when the interpreter is connected with the client. Unused time is not refunded or carried over. Additional time can be ordered as a new package.

5. Refund

If no interpreter can call the client within 60 minutes of payment (or of the requested time for scheduled sessions), the client receives a full refund. If the client cannot be reached after three attempts, the package is due.

6. Cancellation

A scheduled session can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time. For immediate sessions, cancellation is possible free of charge until an interpreter has been assigned.

7. Confidentiality and neutrality

Interpreters are bound by confidentiality and render the conversation faithfully and neutrally. They do not give advice and are not responsible for the content of the statements they interpret.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session concerned, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for interruptions caused by telephone networks.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Lausanne, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
